- First, you need good quality power cables for the mixer. And need input/output pin cables OR XLR cables. Modern mixers available XLR cable points.
- Connect the left active subwoofer cable to the “L”( Left ) socket point of the mixer. And connect the right active subwoofer cables to the “R “ ( Right ) socket point of the mixer.
- If you are using a monitor subwoofer, plug a speaker cable into the “L+R” jack
- When you connect all input/output and supply cables. then please check all pins of the cables. If any pin loses please tighten it. because it problems can damage your mixer
- Main switch ON of the mixer. And open the volume of the left and right speakers from the mixer.
- More options channels are available on the mixer for connecting the mic and other external devices.
Do you need a mixer with powered speakers?
The mixer is not compulsory. Because an active subwoofer or speaker already has an amplifier. But some people use amplifiers in some places. The soundbar is a type of audio speaker. It uses convenient and quick ways to listen to high-quality audio. You can connect one soundbar to your TV with a single HDMI Cable. When you are connecting the subwoofer with the soundbar. Then the power cords for both the soundbar and the subwoofer should be connected to the back of each unit.
If the soundbar is turned on then the dedicated subwoofer will connect automatically. Now check the indicator light on the subwoofer. The subwoofer’s blue led blinks indicator on the subwoofer will stop blinking when fully connected. The process fails if the blue LED doesn’t stop blinking.
How To Hook Up Powered Subwoofer To PA System?
PA means public address system. The mixer is a part of the PA. We can connect a subwoofer to PA to get a strong quality audio system. A public address system is used for big sound system arrangements. But most people use a mixer because they have a low budget for a sound system.
When you connect a PA with a subwoofer. You make sure that the subwoofer and PA system should be of equal quality. PA system connects with the subwoofer as a like mixer. If you have a PA system. Then you should have some input/output cables for the connection of both.

But some speakers or subwoofers do have no Bluetooth option. Bluetooth is not available in Some old subwoofer versions. If you have the latest version of the speaker then you can get the Bluetooth option in the subwoofer.
Some people face issues when they are connecting devices with a subwoofer through Bluetooth. First, you should turn on the Bluetooth of the subwoofer and then turn on the Bluetooth of the device. Then it will connection successful.
